Activities, qualifications & rewards

Every posting has its own requirements, duration, costs and progression track.

Activities include jobs, studies, rescues, surveys, expeditions, games and other timed opportunities. Each activity belongs to a location and names the progression discipline that receives activity XP when it completes.

Qualifications

An activity can check Keeper level, Keeper disciplines, Marks, current location, cooldowns, creature requirements, creature level or stats, care/readiness, or another explicit condition. The activity card shows the requirements before initiation.

A qualification such as `Fieldcraft 3 / 5` refers to the Keeper discipline unless the card explicitly names a creature aptitude.

Progression and rewards

Completing a Fieldcraft activity grants Fieldcraft XP; Scholarship work grants Scholarship XP; Tradecraft work grants Tradecraft XP, and the same pattern applies to the other disciplines. Activities can also award Keeper XP for the overall Keeper level.

Rewards can include Marks, progression XP and items or Finds. The current posting shows the exact payout and requirements for that activity.

Creature participation

Some activities require a creature, some make one optional and some are fully solo. When a creature participates, the activity can check Health, Stamina, Ether, level, Trust, Stress, familiarity, species specialties, trained aptitudes or Current capabilities.

Only the requirements listed for that activity apply. A creature bonus does not satisfy an unrelated Keeper qualification unless the posting explicitly says it does.
