A Registry seal establishes lawful responsibility. It does not manufacture trust. First Reed therefore records care, familiarity, recovery, and attunement separately from ownership paperwork.

What the office will hold you to
- Bond familiarity develops through varied shared care and activity; repeating one trivial action is not treated as equivalent experience.
- Published bond ranks run from Wary through Kinbound and describe familiarity rather than legal ownership.
- Ordinary neglect or inactivity does not erase a bonded creature from the Keeper record.
- Recovery, hunger, conditions, and other care states may affect what a creature is ready to do even while the legal bond remains intact.
Responsibility before familiarity
A new placement may create immediate care obligations before the creature is comfortable with its Keeper. Sanctuary staff expect food, rest, safe housing, and medical needs to be handled whether or not the bond has become easy.
Recovery is not a punishment clock
First Reed distinguishes ordinary recovery from disciplinary withholding. A creature that needs rest may be unavailable for strenuous work, but the purpose of the interval is recovery rather than forcing repeated attendance.
