Creature custody, transfer & rehoming
Custody can change while the creature’s individual record stays with it.
A Fenborn remains the same individual when custody changes. Stats, training, conditions, battle record, familiarity, provenance and life history stay on that creature record.
Lawful transfer
Keeper-to-Keeper creature transfer goes through the Registry rather than ordinary item trade. The creature must be eligible, the parties must satisfy the transfer rules, and incompatible commitments can block the handoff.
When transfer completes, the existing creature changes Keeper and a new custody event is added to its history.
Rehoming
Rehoming places an existing creature through a sanctuary placement. An open rehoming case can restrict new demanding commitments until the placement is settled.
Disputed custody or unresolved illicit history can block ordinary transfer or rehoming.
Keeper seal
When the Registry uses the phrase Keeper seal, it means the custody record recognizing a Keeper’s responsibility for that creature. It is not an Inventory item and does not need to be purchased or equipped.
