What this Current means in the world

Miasma is the element of corruption, disease, and spiritual pollution. It originated in stagnant places where energy festers and becomes toxic: swamps, tombs, and plague zones. Miasma opposes Light, which purifies and exposes, but synergizes with Toxin for its biological subversion. Miasma creatures often spread illness, fear, or madness. Their attacks linger, weaken over time, and distort perception. In the world, Miasma is feared and often blamed for curses and misfortune. Its practitioners are outcasts or feared healers—those who harness poison to fight poison. Miasma teaches caution: not all dangers are visible. Its power lies in erosion, in turning strength to rot. Yet it can be used to cleanse through hardship, forcing confrontation with what is festering beneath.
