What this Current means in the world
Magnetism is the element of force, polarity, and invisible structure. It was born when the world’s metallic core began to spin, aligning fields and defining direction. Magnetism controls attraction and repulsion, physical and emotional, and is strongest in iron-rich lands or where leyline convergence warps navigation. Wood disrupts Magnetism with unpredictable organic resistance, while it complements Metal, from which it draws strength. Magnetic creatures manipulate metallic objects, alter trajectories, or immobilize opponents by locking them down. Their attacks may draw enemies in or violently hurl them away. In civilization, Magnetism governs navigation, compasswork, and sometimes ideology. It teaches the inevitability of push and pull—that opposing forces define each other. Magnetism is also metaphorical: loyalty, obsession, rivalry—all rooted in attraction. It’s a law of nature, but also of emotion.
